Unesco Site List

We can’t remember if we already mentioned in previous posts that one of our aims is to visit as many World Heritage UNESCO sites as possible along our route. We have gone through 3-4 country lists - quite time consuming but following our most recent trip to Spain , we have been researching our itinerary further and there are 40 sites in this country alone. It took us two full days to list separately to our own laptop media and, with the task of wanting to visit as many sites as possible - mainly to satisfy educational needs of our children but equally for our own education and interests (we will be able to learn and use these sites as excellent reference points to build on information about our world and it’s cultures for Jessica and AJ) - but visiting all and every one will have huge impacts on the time and finance available in each country. We need to work on this further and start an elimination process as all are exciting and interesting in their own right! - a difficult task!
