Reality Check

Monday, July 7th, 2008

We have come to a bit of a standstill with preparation at present - not for want but simply to re-gather and re-prioritise our resources. We both work full-time and so our first priority must remain in the real every day world with ourĀ children as number one priority. Both Jessica and AJĀ are transitioning into Primary and Reception from September and there’s been lots of activities between homework, bath- time, meeting new teachers, parents evenings etc. etc.

This doesn’t mean that there isn’t tons to do and shortly, we will be launching a new page called ‘The Timetable’ in order that we can plan, prioritise and attack each task which is required to help us ensure a successful trip.

Meantime, we have also overspent on the vehicle (Land Rovers are addictive - you can just spend, spend, spend!) and also changed our minds on how we want to finally equip and prepare it for our travel purposes. So, we have stopped, are re-grouping and will be attending the Billing Exhibition later this month to get a grip on our final vehicle configuration, requirements and costs. More to follow end July on the vehicle side of things.
